Vieux Carre Cocktail

Ingredients
- 3/4ounce whiskey or bourbon
- 3/4ounce Cognac
- 3/4ounce sweet vermouth
- 1/2teaspoon Benedictine
- 2dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 2dashes Angostura bitters
- Lemon twist
Instructions
- Stir the whiskey, Cognac, vermouth, Benedictine and bitters in a stirring glass with 2 cups of ice, until cold.
- Strain into a rocks glass (with ice cubes, preferably one large one) and garnish with a lemon twist.
