German Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 2tablespoons butter
- 1/4cup canola oil
- 3/4cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1teaspoon coconut extract
- 1cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4cup cocoa
- 1cup old-fashioned oatmeal
- 1/3cup flaked coconut
- 1/3cup chopped pecans
- 1/3cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350F. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray.
- Beat together butter and oil, then add brown sugar, and mix until creamy. Add in egg, vanilla and coconut extract, and continue to mix well.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and cocoa. Combined with creamed mixture and mix until smooth.
- Add in remaining ingredients. Drop teaspoon size portions onto baking sheet and bake until firm, usually 8-10 minutes.
