Fresh Fruit Granita

Ingredients
- 1/2cup sugar
- 1/2cup water
- 4cups fresh juice (such as orange, tangerine or grapefruit)
- 1 to 2tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Dissolve sugar in water over medium heat. (You’ve just made a “simple syrup.”) Let cool. Stir in juices. Pour into a shallow pan, cover and freeze at least 4 hours. Once frozen, scrape with a fork.
