With 155 recipes, Quick-Fix Southern by Rebecca Lang shows that "Southern" and "easy-to-make" are not mutually exclusive terms. Rebecca's recipes are inviting, simple to make and user-friendly. From Appalachian Trail Mix to Spinach and Vidalia Souffle to Roasted Tomatoes and Parmesan Grits, her recipes bring a taste of the South to cooks, no matter where they are, and each takes 30 minutes or less of active prep time.

Rebecca's grandmothers, whom she called "Tom" and "Sa," were traditional Southern cooks, who "could run a kitchen like nobody's business," she says. "With cooks like that only a few blocks away, I was destined to have a passion for home and the food that makes it mine."

As an added help to cooks trying to find Southern ingredients, Rebecca includes a list of sources and contact information for everything from country ham and bacon to pepper jelly.

Rebeca is a contributing editor for Southern Living and has taught cooking classes all across the country. She is the author of Southern Entertaining for a New Generation and Mary Mac's Tea Room: Stories & Recipes from Atlanta's Classic Southern Kitchen.
